Hi Y’all, I’m Emily Coleman.

I am a voice, speech, and accent professional and theatre educator located in the Fort Collins/Boulder/Denver, Colorado area. I hold an M.F.A. in Theatre Arts Pedagogy with a specialization in Voice and Speech from California State University Long Beach and a B.F.A. in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design. I am a certified teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork and a certified EC-12 Theatre Educator.

I am here to guide and support you in achieving your goals. Whether you are looking to hone your audition package, modify your accent, learn new speech skills, or gain more confidence speaking in professional environments, I am here for you and cannot wait to work with you!

When I am not in the rehearsal or classroom space, you can find me hiking the mountains with my dog Milo, experimenting in the kitchen cooking different cultural cuisines, and baking fancy breads or treats!

My Approach And Philosophy

It all begins with the breath. Engaging deeply with the breath can open and free the voice. It can create ease and power simultaneously. I strive to develop my client’s awareness of their full potential by helping them understand the relationship between breath, voice, and communicative energy. Through kinesthetic and technical exercises, clients will explore the breath and experience the power within their bodies and voices.

FEEL.

The experience of feeling the breath and voice creates an introspective awareness that can create a confident exploration of the voice.

EXPERIENCE.

Be curious about how your breath and voice connect, so you can experience the full potential of your voice and communication.
